Hi ladies. I hope you enjoyed your break. I thought we would use our
first post of Q4 to post about some of the things you did during your
break. Since nothing is normal these days, how did you spend your break?

Since we were not able to go anywhere due to the Coronavirus, my family and I watched a lot of movies. One movie we watched was the Karate Kid. This is one of my favorite movies. We also played board games. The game we played the most was Monopoly. We would start playing after dinner and not finish until midnight. We had so much fun. My seven year old sister beat me everytime. It wasn’t even like I let her win, she is just very good at managing her money. On Easter, my sisters and I baked a cake and decorated it with oreos. We are not the best bakers, but this cake was delicious. When I was not spending time with my family, I called my two best friends that recently moved to Florida and South Carolina. This break went better than I expected. Even though we could not leave the house, we made the most of what we had.
This Easter Break was very different compared to past Easter Breaks. I didn't leave the house. Every Sunday my parents and I drive to my grandfather's house to say hi to him. But we keep our distance. We stay in the car while he stands right outside his house. My parents and I have watched a lot of movies and have also baked a lot. For Easter, I made a cake. Even though this break was far from how it normally is, I try to make the best of it. I actually had a good Easter break considering the circumstances.
